Civil Practice

Based on a background in construction, business and technology, Attorney O'Neill has had the opportunity to focus on those practice areas and devote substantial time to developing extensive industry knowledge and new technical skills. For example, he has lectured nationally to business executives and other lawyers regarding the complexities of dealing with computer evidence in a legally defensible manner.  In 2009 he was quoted in the Worcester Business Journal as an authority on the legal issues presented by "cloud computing." In 2008 he researched and authored a textbook titled Legal Aspects of Managing Construction Projects in Massachusetts.

Over the past 24 years, Mr. O'Neill has represented more than 700 individual and organizational clients and advised on thousands of cases. Your lawyer can be a trusted advisor, counselor and confidential sounding board on matters where experience, sound judgment and a knowledge of the law could make a difference. In the course of representing clients in his main practice areas, Mr. O'Neill has been asked to handle numerous personal or general practice matters for clients and their families.  These matters have included a wide variety of topics such as basic estate planning, business succession, tax problems, probate disputes, contract advice, school law and disability discrimination. Mr. O'Neill has expertise and experience in a number of general areas of the law in addition to key practice areas.
